After working as an RN for 26 years, I switched careers – but not my medical focus. Being a Massage Therapist with Houk Chiropractic, I can provide healing care without the potential downside of pain meds. Here at Houk Clinic there is truly a team effort between the Chiropractors, the Massage Therapists and the staff to restore our patients to health.
My name is Jenny and I have been a practicing Massage Therapist for over a year now starting here at Houk in June of 2018. I finished my studies at American Institute of Clinical Massage over in Idaho. I feel with my hands and trust them to know where healing is needed. My ability to work on people is driven by my want to help others. Help you feel the best you at the time. Striving to help recover and relax. Every massage is different but intent will always remain. Heal through touch and always bring my best to every Patient every massage.
I first experienced back pain after working in an industrial plant for 2 years. I got treated with massage and later chiropractic care, it was effective and had fast results. Together these two therapies have motivated me in pursuing a career where helping people comes first. Chiropractors and massage therapists here at Houk work diligently for the care of those who want to invest and better themselves.
Jamie graduated from Carrington College in 2014 as a massage therapist. She grew up playing volleyball and played in three high school state championships and then went on to play for the University of West Georgia. In her seven-year career, Jamie’s modalities range from chinese medical massage, to structural release and her love for healing continues. She loves going on hikes with her husband and two great Danes. She is studying to become fluent in the Russian Language.
My name is Amanda, I have been employed by Houk Chiropractic for 2 years. I am currently working as a chiropractic/x-ray technician at the Monroe office. I graduated from SCC with my Medical Assistant as well as Applied Sciences Degrees while also obtaining a certificate in Communications. Most of my working experience comes from spending 8 years in a family practice setting, which has allowed me to bring more of a clinical approach to the office. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in my garden, building new things or just being crafty. My family and furr babies complete me and I couldn’t imagine life without them!

Hi my name is Ali; I’ve been with Houk Chiropractic since September of 2019 at the front desk. My relationship with the Houk Chiropractic family started as a patient in 2015 after experiencing my own back pain after a car accident. Chiropractic care has been detrimental in my well-being, and it is a huge blessing to be a part of helping other people on that journey and to witness the healing process of others. I have a beautiful stepdaughter and love taking her outside and showing her all this amazing world has to offer. We look forward to helping you on your journey to wellness!
